ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਸਵਰਗ

  

ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਧੂ ਦਰਖੱਤ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ।ਇੰਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਉਥੋਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ ।ਰਾਜਾ ਸਾਧੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰੁਕ ਗਿਆ ।ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਸਾਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ।

         ਉਹ ਸਾਧੂ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, " ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਜੀ ਨਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਅੰਤਰ ਹੈ? "ਪਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਈ ਬੈਠਾ ਰਿਹਾ ।ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਫਿਰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ।ਸਾਧੂ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।

       ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਸਮਝਿਆ ।ਉਹ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਚੀ ਉਚੀ ਬੋਲਣ ਲੱਗਾ ।ਸਾਧੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲੀਆ ਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ," ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹ  ਗੁੱਸਾ ਹੀ ਨਰਕ ਹੈ।ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਜਭਾਟ,ਧੰਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ।ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਪਛਤਾਵਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਤੋ ਮਾਫੀ ਮੰਗੀ ।ਫਿਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਮਾਫੀ ਹੀ ਸਵਰਗ ਹੈ।ਜੋ ਤੇਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਾਧੂ-ਸੰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਨੀਵੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਕਰਵਾਏਗੀ ।

English Translation :-

Hell and Heaven

One day a sadhu was sitting in samadhi under a tree. In the meantime a king passed by with his soldiers. The king stopped to visit the sadhu. The king had a question in his mind. 

          He sat down in front of the sadhu with folded hands and asked his question, "Mahatma ji what is the difference between hell and heaven?" But the sadhu remained absorbed in his samadhi. The king repeated his question again.

        The king was very angry.  He considered this behavior of the sadhu as his insult. He started shouting in anger. The sadhu opened his eyes and said to the king, "This anger of yours is hell. It will destroy your Rajbhat, wealth in an instant  The king regretted what he had done and apologized to the sadhu. Then the sadhu said that this forgiveness of yours is heaven. Even though you are the king, you should be humble with the saints and poor people like us.  Will make you realize.

हिंदी अनुवाद:-

एक दिन एक साधु एक पेड़ के नीचे समाधि में बैठा था। इसी बीच एक राजा अपने सैनिकों के साथ गुजरा। राजा साधु से मिलने के लिए रुका। राजा के मन में एक प्रश्न था।  

          उन्होंने साधु के सामने हाथ जोड़कर अपना प्रश्न पूछा, "महात्मा जी, स्वर्ग और नर्क में क्या अंतर है?" लेकिन साधु अपनी समाधि में लीन रहे। राजा ने अपना प्रश्न फिर दोहराया। साधु ने कोई जवाब नहीं दिया।

        राजा को बहुत गुस्सा आया।  उसने साधु के इस व्यवहार को अपना अपमान समझा। वह गुस्से में चिल्लाने लगा और जोर-जोर से चिल्लाने लगा। साधु ने अपनी आँखें खोली और राजा से कहा, "तुम्हारा यह क्रोध नरक है।  राजा ने अपने किए पर पछतावा किया और साधु से माफी मांगी। तब साधु ने कहा कि तुम्हारी यह क्षमा स्वर्ग है। भले ही तुम राजा हो, हमें संतों और हमारे जैसे गरीब लोगों के साथ विनम्र रहना चाहिए आपको एहसास दिलाएगा
